Summer Arts Enrichment

Summer 2020 Dates: July 6th - July 17th**
**Please Note: Arts Enrichment is a 2-week program. Students must attend both weeks.

The MY Summer Art Portfolio Camp is a two-week intensive visual art program for public school students who would like to apply to a NYC art program for high school. The camp will focus on building a visual art portfolio as well as developing specific audition skills. The camp also prepares students for the audition and screening process required by New York City's art high school schools and programs.

We will review program options, portfolio requirements for each program as well as any student work completed before camp so that each student has a well-rounded body of work. Each student will have a tracking sheet by the end of the camp so they have a record of work completed and work to be finished in the fall. We will also review the mounting and labeling process for artwork.

In addition to daily class, we will bring guest alumni speakers (students currently attending NYC Art High Schools), as well as schedule a museum trip along with on-location drawing.
