This creative hands-on class has students working on a new and very cool craft project every week with their favorite after-school staff members!

Our blend of intramural sports and non-competitive sports skills and drills is sure to meet your young athlete's needs! Students will engage in a variety of seasonal sports responding to the physical fitness and socioemotional need for students eager to have a fun environment, where they can reconnect with their peers, and their favorite After-School coaches and group leaders.

Every kid knows that you don't really learn anything unless you make a mess and get your hands dirty. This class focuses on everything oozy, grimy, slippery and slimy that exists in nature or can be made (safely!) in a test tube. Fun for all!

A taste of travel for the brave hearted, students will engage the five senses as the classroom hops the globe for a delicious destination! By exploring flavors and styles of multiple cuisines, the travelers will learn about the many aspects that go into everyday foods.

An introduction to ballet vocabulary and technique. Students develop strength, alignment, musicality, and the grace that is inherent in the form. Dancers in our ballet classes are prominently featured in each semester's dance performance.

This class will explore a range of techniques for developing concept, writing, designing, animating and editing stop-motion animation projects. Students will create armatures, puppets and sets, and complete the production process of an animated movie using professional capturing and editing equipment and software.

Through this hands-on experience, you'll have the chance to create interactive art, media, and narratives while learning valuable skills in computational thinking and mathematics.

In this course, students will learn the basics of the Spanish language through a variety of activities such as brief conversations, directed dialogues, worksheets, and short writing exercises. Additionally, audio and visual aids, as well as short reading passages, will be utilized to enhance the learning experience.

Responding to the need for students to have a safe and relaxed environment where they can reconnect with their peers under a well supervised environment, MY Clubhouse activities are always offered! From art to science activities that the group chooses. For little ones, this is a great opportunity to learn and develop social skills. All grades every day.

In this hands-on class, young filmmakers will conceptualize stories and bring them to life. Students will learn how to handle and use camera equipment, basic short composition, direction, collaboration and basic editing skills in order to turn their story ideas into short films.

Students develop skills, good sportsmanship and a sense of team spirit. Players are divided into groups based on experience and skill level. Each class session includes a lesson, drills and a game or scrimmage.

With a steady hand and a wild imagination, students will learn how to design and decorate palm-sized sweet treats. Ranging from cookies and cupcakes, to lollipops and jello molds, everything beautiful and wacky can be made here!

Computer programing meets gaming in this interactive club that explores the application of video game design through coding and play. Students will learn the technical basic skills of digital games while using art, design, and coding to create their own games! Students will also gain practical skills through planning, working independently, sharing ideas, and team building activities. 

Do you want to take your child’s game to the next level? In the Basketball Skills & Drills class, students will take part in organized structured physical activities to help develop and strengthen their basketball skills. Throughout the course of the semester, students will learn new techniques by practicing drills and build their capacity to play as a team.

Does your child love watching videos on social media? Your Mini Influencer is now a Manhattan Youth Journalist.  This class is an opportunity for students to learn how to write scripts, interview friends, and even our staff, record and edit videos. Students will also learn about internet safety and have the opportunity to create and operate a class fan page that can be shared, via private link, with family and friends.

Each student becomes a culinary innovator with a challenging clash of ingredients presented. Creations will be judged by uniqueness, appearance and effort. The winner adds a mystery ingredient to the weekly draw box!

DIY Creations helps kids showcase their art and business skills. They'll design and sell products, learn marketing, and open a Pop-Up Shop. Plus, they'll build life skills like problem-solving and financial literacy, and boost their creativity and confidence.

Inspired by Carl Warner, Christine McConnell, and lovers of Legos, students will plan and build edible structures of all shapes and sizes. Join our class to master the basics of music production and score your beloved TV scenes and movie moments with your own original music. Each week, you'll enhance your creativity and confidence by honing your musical abilities and gaining a deeper comprehension of music.

In this class students will get a chance to explore the multiple uses of paper. Students will make paper sculptures, paper models, origami and get to use papier mache. Students will work in teams or even alone to build an origiami/3D-like city in the future, they'll make amazing paper roses, cool looking jets and so much more.
