Manhattan Youth Downtown Basketball League

For over 30 years, the Downtown Community Basketball League has been a cornerstone of our community, providing a fun, safe and educational basketball experience for children. We are excited to announce that registration for the upcoming season is now open!

Our programs are designed to help kids develop fundamental basketball skills, build self-confidence, and learn the invaluable lessons of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Season Timeline:  Our season begins this November! The first few months are dedicated to skill-building and scrimmages, with teams formally drafted in January.

• Basketball League Starts: Week of November 6th
• Basketball Clinics Start: Saturday, November 15th

Weekday Divisions:

• 2nd/3rd Grade Boys - Friday evenings at PS234   Starting Nov. 7th
• 4th/5th Grade Boys - Thursday evenigs, PS234 / PS89  Starting Nov. 6th
• 2nd/3rd Grade Girls - Tuesday evening, PS234   Starting Nov. 18th
• 4th/5th Grade Girls - Wednesday evening, PS 234   Starting Nov. 12th
• 6th/7th Grade Boys-  Friday evening, PS89   Starting Nov. 7th

Saturday Clinics at PS150- Starting Nov. 15th:

• 1st Grade Boys: 10:00 - 11:00am
• 1st/3rd Grade Girls: 11:00 -12:15pm
• 2nd/3rd Grade Boys: 12:15 -1:30pm
• 4th/5th Grade Boys and Girls: 1:30 -2:45pm
