FAQs

  • 1 What is your code of conduct?

We are a place for children. A place for Families. A support for Caregivers.

We are also a vital center for community, and we count on all who enter our Community Center to uphold the standards of respect for children, staff, adults, spaces, equipment, and one another.

Children are always watching us for the ways to be in the world.

Therefore, we ask that you speak in respectful tones, show care and attention to them and to one another, and use gentle hands at all times.

Manhattan Youth reserves the right to deny or limit any users’ participation at the Downtown Community Center if our Code of conduct is violated. Please let us know if you need assistance. We are always happy to help!

If you have concerns about a person or behaviors witnessed at the community center, please contact

Camille Diamond, Director of the Downtown Community Center.
